Hunger Action Month 2024
This September, help your neighbors overcome hunger through donating to Waste Not. Donations keep our drivers on the road - picking up good food from businesses from Chandler to Tolleson and delivering it to nonprofit agencies like St. Vincent de Paul, Maggie's Place, Jose's Closet, UMOM, Native American Connections, and more!
Meet Harriet
Arizonans like Harriet, lived a life that wasn’t that different from yours and mine.

She worked at a big company and hoped hard work and a master’s degree would earn her a promotion. She dreamed about where she and her husband might retire and when Harriet could, she put money away for a rainy day she thought would never come. But by 2020, that stable life was gone.

Will you help Arizonans like Harriet today?

Harriet was blindsided when her husband asked for a divorce. With her career, Harriet thought she’d be okay out on her own. And she was fine for a while, until she got sick and eventually lost her job.

“My life exploded,” says Harriet, who soon exhausted her savings. She applied for disability and food benefits to give her space to figure out her next step. It wasn’t enough.

Now, she receives support, counseling, classes, and a food box every week thanks to Waste Not and the staff at Hope Women's Center.

Donate now to help more Arizonans like Harriet get the food they need.
