Our Food Donors

Every day, we rescue perishable food before it goes to waste and deliver it to those in need.
Waste Not collects fresh food from more than 70 generous local food businesses including restaurants, catering companies, resorts, grocery stores, and event venues, that consistently donate their excess perishable food that would otherwise go to waste.
This good food is delivered, same day, to our network of nonprofits who provide critical community services, such as housing and employment assistance. Our fleet of refrigerated vehicles and volunteer MealConnect drivers are the backbone of our program and eliminate the need for expensive storage facilities.
Our food donors are committed to reducing food waste by donating meals to meet the need of the nearly 1 million people in Arizona are struggling with food insecurity.

We offer a simple solution for reducing your food waste while feeding those who are experiencing food insecurity. Our drivers value your food just as much as you do -- they are trained in food safety to ensure that the food you donate truly nourishes our community.

*Please note that we only accept food donations from organizations with licensed commercial kitchens, such as restaurants, grocery, caterers, and event venues.

The Good Samaritan Food Donation Act of 1996 protects donors from liability when food and grocery products are donated in good faith to nonprofits who feed those in need.
It's because of this legislation and the generosity of our food donors, that we are able to collect and deliver so much good food to those who need it most.
