We’re transforming this broken system by connecting tens of thousands of Arizonans with quality food that would have otherwise gone to waste. By reimagining what’s possible for food rescue, we’re making our community and our planet healthier.
Food waste is the single largest component going into local landfills, which costs money, resources, and harms our environment. In 2020, Waste Not diverted 1,427 TONS of good food from our local landfills.
Five days a week, our fleet of refrigerated trucks and professional drivers collect excess prepared and perishable food from local businesses, and deliver it directly (the same day) to our 85+ partner nonprofit agencies that serve those in need.
At Waste Not, we’re creating sustainable food systems that help people and the planet flourish.
