It goes without saying that we are entering a holiday season unlike most of us have ever experienced.  The country’s economic turmoil is wreaking havoc in all sectors of society.  For those of us in the arena of helping the less fortunate, it is a particularly challenging time.  Right here in our own community, we are overwhelmed by the ever-increasing requests for food that we receive on a daily basis.

With so many hearts and tummies hurting at this most poignant time of year, our needs are more critical than ever.  We ask for your help.  If you observe excess food being thrown away, or if you are attending an event of any nature, please ask those in charge to call Waste Not at 480-941-1841 for excess food pick-up.  Please don’t forget that the smallest amount of food can be life-changing.

Our need for financial support is also urgent.   Our expenses are escalating daily.  We are asking you to open your heart as well as your wallet and send your donation today.  Take real ownership with us in our Valley-wide effort to help feed our neighbors in need.  For your convenience, you may donate online. Remember that Waste Not is a qualifying organization that provides assistance to the working poor.  Your donation of up to $400 may be eligible for a tax credit. We suggest you consult your tax advisor for complete details.
